Even if you’ve never stayed in a hostel before, you probably know that hostels (or albergues in Spanish) are a type of shared accommodation that is usually much more budget-friendly than any other type of accomodation. But what you may not know is that it's not just about the money. The uniquely social nature of hostels will transform your trip by allowing you to meet all kinds of people from all over the world and create strong connections with them due to our social atmosfere. Differently from a hotel or an apartment, our common areas, shared kitchen, rooftop and, specially, our planned social events, they all provide amazing opportunities for travelers to establish friendships and to do activities together. Your stay in a hostel can be many things, but it will never be boring!
We’re glad you asked! Veranera Hostel is a project that has been in the making since 2011 when I first fell in love with the hostel concept and started dreaming of having my own. Since then, I've been staying, volunteering and working in many, many, many hostels all over the world. The last 10 years of my life have been all about backpacking, traveling and hostel life, and, now, the dream has finally become real!
So what really makes Veranera Hostel stand out it's not our amazing rooftop or our super comfy beds, but the love and care we put in this place that you'll feel for sure as soon as you walk in!
We can't wait to welcome you to our lovely home!
